When award-winning children's author Kate, iconic rocker Bryan and accomplished composer / producer David got together, fun ensued! The result is Kate & Friends, a podcast of children's songs, stories and poems.
From the challenges of kindergarten to the fun (or not!) of siblings, from snoring to nicknames to unicorns, kids' need for reassurance and love of silliness are covered in these delightful episodes.
Kate Lum
Kate is the author of five children’s books, including What! Cried Granny, a Literati Book Club selection (as seen in oprahmag.com) and Princesses Are Not Quitters.
She has received numerous accolades for her work, including the Red House Children’s Book Award, The 10th Annual Japan Picture Book Award, and the Nick Jr. Family Magazine Best Book of the Year Award.
Kate holds a masters degree of fine arts from the University of British Columbia.
David Findlay
David is a musician, composer, producer and educator with over 60 film and television credits, plus dozens of other compositions for audio visual productions and critically acclaimed music releases.
He holds a masters degree from McGill University.

Bryan Potvin
Bryan is a lead guitarist, vocalist and songwriter with seminal Canadian band The Northern Pikes, and composer of numerous hits including She Ain’t Pretty and Hopes Go Astray. He has also composed and recorded for television network productions such as Survivorman and Due South.
Bryan is working towards a bachelors degree from Berklee College of Music.
